Sass N Harmony is honored to announce the release of their second album ‘Strong Beautiful Wise’, which is now available on all platforms. The Album is an ode to the strength, beauty and wisdom which guides us through the phases of life. Their songs lace together ancient knowing with modern-day questions on a journey towards wholeness. This album was recorded in Sass N Harmony’s home studio at a pivotal time in society; the album reflects the inward nature of the pandemic while marking the need for a re-wilding and deeper connection to one’s heart. The album is a mystical journey of harnessing power, following intuitions and leading with love.

Sass N Harmony is a multi-instrumental trio out of Oakland CA, best described as soul folk. The music of Sass N Harmony is imbued with mischief and magic to bring you lyrics immersed in archetypes and folk-tales. Their vocals fly together like a tight triangle of birds overhead, agilely changing directions when needed. At times angelic and feathery and other times cackling and edgy, full of tension and resolve, with overlapping lyrics, a cappella rhythmic techniques and lush layering. Their unique mix of whimsical vocals and tight groove invokes a presence that goes straight to the heart.

These ladies are Oakland based musicians and environmental activists who first formed their band on the Biketopia Music Collective bike tour of 2016, each performing with their own group or solo projects on a journey from Canada to San Francisco hosting off grid, bike powered music festivals along the way.
Sass N Harmony released their first full length album, “Twisted Nautilus” in the summer of 2020, in the midst of the COVID19 pandemic, hosting an outdoor, socially distance bike-powered concert on the top of Wildcat Canyon in Berkeley, CA to keep the music alive.
Now 3 music videos have been created from the Twisted Nautilus CD including one that documents this bike-powered album release.
